Port of Airlie – Cruise Whitsunday Ferry Terminal
Parking Instructions
Use the 10 angled car parks on the right hand side. As you enter from the roundabout, they are signposted as 2 minute parks. The longer carparks on the left size are bus zones, and the parks directly in front of the terminal are taxi zones. Do not use these carparks. Whitsunday Parking will not be liable for any fines from parking in the incorrect parks.

After parking, take your luggage, lock your car and proceed to the right hand entry to the ferry terminal. Inside is the departure desk where you can check in your luggage and confirm ferry details with the Cruise Whitsunday staff. Directly opposite the departure desk is the Whitsunday Parking key dropbox. Please fill out the envelope with all required details, place keys inside the envelope, and deposit the envelope in the dropbox.
Have a trailer? Please contact Whitsunday Parking on 0467 328 278 1 day prior to arrival to receive parking instructions. We will guide you through the process.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes prior to your ferry departure time, please text or call 0467 328 278 to ensure prompt collection of your vehicle.
On return, we will meet you at the key drop box at your allotted ferry arrival time.
Shute Harbour Marine Terminal
Please note that we can accept cars only at this location, no trailers.
Parking Instructions
Park in the Council car parks in front of the terminal. The first hour is free. The parks directly in front of the terminal are loading and taxi zones. Do not use these carparks. Whitsunday Parking will not be liable for any fines incurred from incorrect parking.
After parking
There is a key drop box inside the terminal. Please fill out all required details on the envelope, place your keys inside and deposit into the drop box.
On return
Because of the variables of the inter-island ferry times, your vehicle is usually returned 30 minutes before your return, and the keys placed in the key safe on the drop box. The code and directions to your vehicle will be provided by SMS prior to your return.
